What is Rabeko Protein Spread?

Rabeko Protein Spread is a high-protein chocolate spread developed by Rabeko — a Belgian brand from Lokeren whose products are made according to family recipes dating back to 1997. Each 250g jar delivers 20g of protein per 100g alongside 81% less sugar than conventional chocolate spreads, from a formula built on whey protein concentrate, maltitol as the sole sweetener and real hazelnuts (13% in the Nutty Chocolate variant) — without palm oil, without refined added sugars and without artificial flavourings.

The formula is a direct answer to one of the most consumed spreads in Belgium — chocolate-hazelnut spread — reengineered as a high-protein, low-sugar product for athletes and health-conscious individuals who want to enjoy their morning toast, protein pancakes and rice cakes without sacrificing their nutritional targets. At 509 kcal per 100g, 20g of protein and only 5.4g of sugars, Rabeko Protein Spread provides a genuine protein contribution at every serving alongside the full, creamy, chocolatey experience of conventional spread.

Two flavours are stocked. Nutty Chocolate is built on the classic chocolate-hazelnut architecture: maltitol-sweetened, whey protein concentrate, 13% real hazelnuts, fat-reduced cocoa powder, cocoa butter and a natural vanilla note — the closest functional equivalent to premium chocolate-hazelnut spread at 20% protein and 81% less sugar. White Chocolate removes the cocoa and hazelnuts entirely, building on a vegetable fat base with maltitol, whey protein and vanilla for a creamy, sweet, smooth white chocolate profile that is allergen-simpler and pairs with a broader range of flavours.
