What is Scitec Nutrition Iso Whey Clear?

Scitec Nutrition Iso Whey Clear is a clear, refreshing protein drink built on whey protein isolate. Each 25g serving (¾ scoop) provides 20g of protein for 87 kcal and 0.8g of carbohydrates. That makes 81g of protein per 100g of powder, from a formula that is 93 to 95% whey protein isolate depending on the flavour.

A classic whey shake is milky and creamy. A clear whey is formulated to dissolve into a transparent, light drink that looks and drinks more like a fruit juice or an iced tea than a milkshake. Malic acid gives the drink its fresh, fruity profile. Scitec presents Iso Whey Clear as the answer for athletes who want their protein as a refreshing drink, “not only on summer days”, served in a glass.

Scitec describes the product as sugar-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and palm-oil-free. Its protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones (EU-authorised claims).

Three flavours are stocked. Peach Mango (95% WPI) is coloured with riboflavin and paprika extract. Green Tea Kiwi (93% WPI) is coloured with ammonia caramel and copper complexes of chlorophylls. Blueberry (95% WPI) is coloured with beetroot concentrate and Brilliant Blue FCF.

Contains milk. Available in 1025g, which provides 41 servings of 25g.

Clear. Light. 20g of whey isolate in every glass.

💪 20g of protein per 25g serving — 81g per 100g

At 87 kcal per serving, each ¾ scoop gives you 20g of protein, which is 40% of the reference intake. Whey protein isolate makes up 93 to 95% of the formula. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones (EU-authorised claims).

🧬 9.4g of EAAs and 4.4g of BCAAs per serving

The full amino acid profile is declared: 37.6g of essential amino acids and 17.6g of BCAAs per 100g, including 8.5g of leucine. These amino acids are naturally present in the whey protein and support recovery after training.

🧃 Lighter than a traditional whey

Iso Whey Clear is a transparent, juice-style drink rather than a thick milky shake. It suits athletes who find creamy shakes heavy, especially after training, in hot weather or between meals.

🚫 Sugar-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, palm-oil-free

These are Scitec’s own product claims. At 0.8g of carbohydrates per serving, Iso Whey Clear is also compatible with low-carbohydrate approaches. It still contains milk proteins.

🎯 Goal guide

🏋️ Mass gain: 1 to 3 servings/day, ideally after training and as a snack between meals, as a light protein complement to the main shakes and meals.

🔥 Weight loss / cutting: 1 serving/day. 20g of protein for 87 kcal and under 1g of carbohydrates, in a drink that feels like a refreshment.

⚖️ Daily protein routine: 1 serving/day as a refreshing alternative to a creamy shake, especially in summer.

Serving suggestion

Dilute 1 serving (25g = ¾ scoop) in 275ml of water. Shake gently until fully dissolved and let the foam settle for a few seconds. Serve cold, ideally over ice, in a glass. Iso Whey Clear is ideally consumed after training, and also as a snack between meals. Do not exceed 3 servings per day. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplements do not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Best times to enjoy it

🏋️ After training (primary recommendation)

20g of fast-absorbing whey isolate in a light, refreshing format. A good fit when a thick milky shake is unappealing straight after an intense session.

🥤 As a snack between meals

A light way to add 20g of protein to the day for only 87 kcal, without the heaviness of a creamy shake.

☀️ On hot days

A cold, fruity protein drink served over ice that works as a refreshment and a protein top-up in one glass.

Q1 — What is a clear whey and how is it different from a standard whey shake?

A standard whey shake is milky and creamy. A clear whey is formulated, with a whey protein isolate base and an acidifier (malic acid here), to dissolve into a transparent, light drink. In the glass it resembles a fruit juice or a cold tea. The protein source is the same family (whey), but the experience is much lighter and more refreshing than a milkshake.

Q2 — Is Iso Whey Clear suitable for people with lactose intolerance or a milk allergy?

Scitec describes the product as lactose-free. It is not milk-free: the whey protein isolate and the creamer contain milk proteins and milk powder. Lactose intolerance and milk-protein allergy are different conditions. People with a milk allergy must not use this product.

Q3 — The product is “sugar-free” but the ingredients include sucrose and glucose syrup. Why?

Both appear only inside the creamer, in very small quantities. The product contains 0.8g of carbohydrates per 25g serving in total, and Scitec presents it as sugar-free. Sweetness comes mainly from sucralose and acesulfame K.

Q4 — How much water should I use, and can I mix it with milk, hot tea or coffee?

Dilute one 25g serving in 275ml of cold water and serve it cold. Milk will cloud the drink and defeats the clear, juice-style purpose. Hot liquids are not recommended, as heat can make whey protein clump. For a tea-style drink, brew the tea, let it cool completely, then mix. Do not exceed 3 servings per day.

Q5 — How does it compare with Scitec 100% Whey Isolate?

Both are built on whey protein isolate. Scitec 100% Whey Isolate provides 21g of protein per 25g (83g per 100g) with added L-glutamine and L-arginine, in a creamy shake texture. Iso Whey Clear provides 20g per 25g (81g per 100g) with no added amino acids in the declared profile, in a clear, juice-style drink. The choice is mostly about texture and drinking preference.
